If you belong to Christ, you already have His mind. Jesus is our forerunner and has shown us how His mind will create expressions of humility in the life of those who belong to Him.

While Jesus' disciples argued over which one of them was the greatest, He got up from the table, laid aside His outer garments, and tied a towel around His waist.

The example of Christ’s humility should push us beyond merely being cordial to the people around us.

Jesus wants us to have this mind: to long for and live for the Father’s glory, not our own.
