Brevity Doesn’t Equate Impact (Psalm 103:15-16)
As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; 16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. —Psalm 103:15-16
If man is like grass—if we are but a vapor that is here and gone—then let us make the vapor count by investing it in the eternal—in the steadfast love of the Lord which is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him.
The brevity of our lives does not determine the magnitude of its impact. The question is whether we are investing our lives in what matters.
